Opulent Property Group is embarking on a transformative project aimed at bringing back to life  disused rough land located between the residential area of Porthouse Rise and the industrial units to the south. The site, previously designated as Employment Land with historical plans for B1/B2 units, has been abandoned for a number of years which have resulted in overgrown vegetation creating an unattractive scene for the town. Historic planning permission which allowed the creation of small works units was never implemented by the owners due to a lack of market demand for these premises.

 

In response to the evident challenges and in alignment with community needs, Opulent Property Group is proposing an alternative development. The new vision involves the integration of care facilities for the elderly, medical services, and a strategically located supermarket to serve the town and its residents.

 

Understanding the significance of community involvement, Opulent Property Group is currently in the early stages of design development. Seeking to engage with the locals, the development team aims to gather valuable insights, preferences, and concerns from the community to help shape the final project. The primary goal is to create a development that resonates with the needs and aspirations of the residents.

 

To facilitate open dialogue and gather community input, Opulent Property Group invites the public to attend a consultation event scheduled for the 13th December 2023. The event will take place at The Falcon Hotel Mews, 2 Broad Street, Bromyard, HR7 4BT, between the hours of 15:00 and 19:30. This consultation provides an opportunity for residents to learn more about the proposed project, voice their opinions, and actively participate in shaping the future development of their community.

 

As part of the engagement process, Opulent Property Group encourages residents to fill out a questionnaire designed to capture their perspectives on the proposed development. The questionnaire covers aspects such as preferences for the type of development on the site, their views and concerns on the current proposals.

 

Opulent Property Group aims to submit a planning application in 2024, incorporating the valuable feedback gathered during the community engagement process. This timeline allows for thorough consideration of local input, ensuring that the final development aligns with the community's vision and needs.
